Plymarc is a trustworthy brand and hence, it is our responsibility to provide our customers with the best products. With advanced technologies, Plymarc has made its solid presence in the market of plywoods and veneers. H & C or Heat and Cool Compression technology has various advantages guaranteeing phenomenal performance and long life. In this blog, you will look into the process by which plywoods are made through H&C Compression technology.

STEPS INVOLVED IN H&C COMPRESSION TECHNOLOGY

Step 1: ENSURING NO GAPS BETWEEN VENEERS
For any plywood’s longevity, it is important that the veneers are minus any gaps. Therefore, the first step involved in the H&C Compression technology is to eliminate any gap present. For this, the veneers are arranged in a criss-cross manner ensuring zero gap between the veneers.

Step 2: THE PROCESS OF COLD PRESSING CARRIED OUT
Once the veneers are assembled, these veneers are then cold-pressed in a single shot ensuring the desired thickness. Once the veneers become semi-bonded plywood, they are all set to attain super bonding.

Step 3: HOT PRESSED TO ATTAIN SUPREME BONDING
Now that the veneers are semi-bonded, they are all set to undergo hot press. Hot press is important as it gives strength to the plywood through its best bonding feature. The thickness of the plywood comes from this bonding which assures the durability of the plywood.

Step 4: CALIBRATION FOR UNIFORM THICKNESS
The hot pressed veneers further undergo a two-way pressing process in a hydraulic hot press. It is then followed by sanding. The veneers are sanded for calibration that provides uniform thickness that provides thickened plywood. The perfectly finished calibrated plywood can be used in furniture, beds, kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, sofa, etc.

Step 5: HOT PRESS PROCESS FOR THE FINAL TOUCH
The calibrated plywood is refaced and again undergoes hot press for their rigid structure. Plywoods are now ready for finish. The finished plywoods are then stamped with a grade trademark. This trademark gives brief information about the grade, mill number, and other details. These plywoods are now ready to be shipped to the required customers.

The Heat and Cool Compression is immensely important for the final quality of the plywood. All the veneer layers are hot-pressed with great care to ensure the durable rigidity of the plywood. We can see these plywoods mostly in the interiors of a house or even a workplace. Plymarc H&C Compression technology has produced high-quality plywoods that ensure longevity.
