The Story
Mampilly Group started the journey in the wood industry by establishing a sawmill in Ernakulam district of Kerala in 1968. The first plywood manufacturing unit of Mampilly Group began its operations in 1996.
This year marked the birth of an international standard plywood brand from Kerala. It was pure and meritorious growth for Plymarc and we never had to look back.
2002 was the first step to the global market. Mampilly Group was licensed to export its products to various parts of the world. Raising own standards, 2 years later Mampilly Plywood Industries was certified with the international standard that specifies the quality management system of the company – ISO 9001 – 2015 (in 2004).
The next bold step was in 2008 when Mampilly group set up an in-house resin manufacturing unit in Vazhakulam Industrial Area. The manufacturing of resins like phenol-formaldehyde, urea-formaldehyde etc enhanced the quality of our products.
In 2012, a state of the art manufacturing unit for densified plywood like shuttering plywood, transport sector plywood, industrial sector plywood etc was initiated.
Brand expansion became exponential to our innovation and 2015 marked a new venture - natural and decorative veneers. The group started a new manufacturing facility in Ponjassery Industrial area, for manufacturing of veneers.

Mampilly Group is always concerned about the protection of nature and safety of our customer family. For its concerned and controlled purchase of raw materials like wood from forests that are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable, the company got the gold standard - FSC® CERTIFICATION.
2018
PLYMARC – Mark of Quality Plywood. Mampilly group launched their brand PLYMARC at INDIAWOOD 2018 at Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, bringing all its products under one identity.
2019
PLYMARC PLYWOODS got certified by CALIFORNIA AIR RESOURCE BOARD USA and NTA USA to the ‘ Certificate of EPA TSCA TITLE VI and CARB Formaldehyde Compliance. The American E 0 technology makes us unique and best. (0 formaldehyde emissions).
